Knowleaf podcast features cannabis industry leaders to help you Know the Leaf. On this episode, at Hall of Flowers we interviewed Hanna of Autumn Brands, a cultivation farm based in Santa Barbara.

Autumn Brands was founded by two families coming together with one mission in mind: producing quality sun-grown indoor cannabis.  While the name “Autumn Brands” may seem season inspired, it is actually a combination of the Co-founder’s names: Autumn Shelton + Hanna Brands. Autumn Brands is 50% women owned and was even one of the first women-owned cannabis businesses in California, producing pure and potent strains of cannabis.

“We have focused on quality over quantity since day one so our farm in Santa Barbara County is completely pesticide free.”

– Hanna of Autumn Brands

The Autumn Brands’ family farm started in Holland more than a century ago, and today, the sixth-generation farmers apply the same expertise garnered in growing the world’s finest tulips to producing pure and potent strains of cannabis. Autumn Brands has come a far way and currently employs 65 people, which is quite impressive considering they are self funded.
